Birth of the Coalition Marines

"It is my honor to introduce to you the birth of the Coalition Marines!"

"Taking up the mantle of Marine Commander will be Consul Mephiston Leonatos who we have on live feed and would like to say a few words."

The feed switches to a somewhat choppy feed of the Consul who appears to be standing atop the outer walls of a military outpost on the planet Nixor IV. Suited in full body armor underneath grey robes he turns to the camera projecting his voice over the howling winds and snow.

"Good evening Coalitioners, tonight is a glorious night for us. As the subzero winds of Nixor IV whip about me, my heart burns with pride at the birth of the Coalition Marines - the Draigons. As a tribute to our very roots as the Triumvirate Security Force, the Marines adopt their former standard with honor. Like the fierce, winged beasts of our galaxy we shall bestow fear into the hearts of those who would threaten us. Like them we shall be relentless in battle and dominate our foes from the land and sky. Though a small force the Marines will train to be highly versatile and highly adaptable so we can take the fight to our enemies where ever and whenever needed. Brave men and women are already training now to become Draigons here on Nixor IV putting their skills to the test and enduring the bitter elements."

The Consul presses a small button on a small device in his hand switching the camera feed to a remote observation drone some distance away as it trails a fresh squad of Coalition Marines.

Consul Leonatos' voice comes on as the live feed from the drone continues, "If you think you have what it takes to be a Draigon, if you have a fire burning in your heart to protect and serve the Coalition and her people, if you're willing to put your life on the line for the men and women who will serve by your side, then the Coalition Marines want you. From the planet Nixor IV, this is Consul Leonatos saying goodnight Coalitioners, may you rest well for tomorrow is a new day."

The camera feed from the drone cuts out and you are greeted once more by Claire Drummont.

"Exciting news Coalitioners! For those amongst you eager to join the frontlines as a Coalition Marine, please contact your Commanding Officer to discuss the decision first. If your current department will not be negatively impacted by your enlistment and you have the go ahead from your CO, then contact Consul Leonatos directly with your interest. Echoing the words of our Consul sleep well Coalitioners, this is Claire Drummont of TCNN signing off."
