The Eclipse Bar
With the current economic boom, The Eclipse has found a niche in the Renatasian market. Situated in the trading station of Renatasia III, it is in a prime location for travelling Centran wayfarers. Thus ot soon became a favourite with officers in the Triumvirate, which has been encouraged by its proprietors as it has vastly reduced bar fights and brawls, as well as the many sentients that pass through Renatasia. It serves a wide variety of drinks, from strong ales, to non-alcoholic beverages, and the strongest coffee this side of Coruscant, which is a favourite of on-duty pilots.
The bar’s name refers to the beautiful view offered to its patrons when the trading station’s motion around Renatasia III puts Renatasia III between it and the sun, thereby eclipsing the station. The station comes equipped with enhanced energy shields to protect its occupants from the increased radiation. During this time, the bartender is often known to give out free drinks to any of the regular patrons or VIPs. The bar, itself, is relatively new, having been built in the last major expansion to the capitol city. It has clean, duracrete walls, washed regularly, and a large sign saying The Eclipse in several different languages. Inside, most of the bar is brightly lit, except for a few corners where shadows cover the more private tables. Posters of famous drinkers, including the four Consuls, deck the walls. Several serving droids look after the bar patrons, overseen by a bartender. The bar sticks out into the room, surrounded by stools, and with several tables against the walls.
